Foucault’s Pendulum “The thinking person’s Da Vinci Code”

fp by you.

Good golly.

I picked this book off the shelf last weekend, browsed it quickly and put it by my bed with only the best intentions of course…

Other books brought on the same journey included: God of Small Things, Franklin and Winston and Bowling Alone.

I made the mistake of telling someone I picked the book up and now we are attempting to “read it together.” (For the rest of our lives?)

Only on page 17ish and already seeking out “an incomplete concordance to Foucault’s Pendulum by Umberto Eco.” I’m pretty the sum of my way too many years of college and law school don’t even come close to the knowledge contained within those few pages alone.

And yet…tis now a challenge. Literary Sadomasochism.
