Grump. Man, I’ve been a grump more times than not this past week. Not sure why although I’d like to blame hormones. I’d also like to blame not feeling settled quite yet in the rearranging of the house.

And perhaps not having the computer working at night, which has allowed for the rearranging of the house, which accidentally started a few weeks back with the kitchen.

(As of last night, Mark installed a new fan and all is well again. For now.)

Last weekend Mark and I started working on the big shift from moving the front/living room area into his *studio* and by studio I mean not his ART studio which is currently filled with heaps and piles and boxes and bags of stuff…but his studio space for Wing Chun and building his wooden dummy. Because a wooden dummy should be used for Wing Chun and NOT for storing things.

You see, when we first moved in together JennyMark had big dreams for our new space. Grandiose visions of the two of us lazily lounging around in our very open and spacious front room reading and passing the time away.

No electronics in the front room, all that stuff would be stored in the middle room.

The front room was where we kept our bookshelves and a flat futon to lie on to read. Yeah. To dream. At least the kitties liked it!

As we found out, the middle room where the computer and TV live is also where we spend the bulk of our time. (Especially once we got cable.)

Last week, before the Super Bowl, Mark and I moved the futon from the front room into the middle room. This allowed me to find other creative ways to rearrange the middle room since it now felt very small and cluttery.

Our *Dining Room* has two bookshelves now and the large wooden trunk full of my pictures and stuff has been moved into the bedroom.

Our front room now has Mark’s Wing Chun books (and more) on one wee shelf, a couch, coffee table and shelf with games on it (for now.)

One step closer…many steps to go.
