Inclusive Theater of WNY: Auditions

Inclusive Theater of WNY

Inclusive Theater of WNY (ITOWNY) is excited to announce auditions for “And Where Will You Put the Things You Save?” – Baroness Von Smith’s newest play!

Auditions will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 1-4pm at The Foundry, 298 Northampton, Buffalo, NY.

“And Where Will You Put the Things You Save?” is an examination of the role of technology and whether it will damn us or save us told through stories of Autism, Eco-Terrorism and Biohacking.

ITOWNY is looking for females and males ages 18 and up. Everyone is invited to audition and no appointment or prepared monologue is necessary. Sides will be given and some improv scenarios are possible.

Volunteers are also needed to fill theater roles such as prop master, tech, design, etc. If you’re interested in getting involved in these (or any!) areas of theater, please attend the auditions or contact Aimee at inclusivetheaterofwny@gmail.com.

Inclusive Theater of WNY seeks to reimagine society through producing original scripts in their ongoing writing group and workshops and through the production and performance of those scripts with actors who are chosen solely on their ability—whether they have a disability or not.

ITOWNY’s dream is not only to reimagine existing plays and be a place where diversity is the norm, but also to challenge perceptions and begin to create a world in which people are accepted and allowed to contribute to society no matter what age, physical condition, race, nationality or gender.
