Kitties Gone Wild!

Oh my heart.

I’ve been sleeping in the bedroom which of course is where Little Ling sleeps, since this has been the arrangement for about two weeks now, I’ve spent lots of one on one time with the sweetest little kitty cat. And she has not spent any time with Mark. She’s getting really anxious.

Mark has been in the middle room with the futon. I moved all his stuff in the studio after the breakup and the computer to the dining room area.

My cats go in and out. At night they tend to cry to be let in around 3 am and they have been hanging out with Mark. Keesa somehow has managed to coexist with Simba Cat for the most part, but mostly because she cannot be apart from Mark’s side. Ever. Of course her scratch scratch scratch at the bedroom door around 4:30 am to use her food dish and water dish and litter box followed by another scratch scratch scratch at the door to go back out is getting a little old.

All the while, Little Ling has been hanging out with me. I cuddle up to her and it is breaking my heart…

Tonight I thought I would try something new (stupid ass idea) and move my two boys who were sleeping on the futon into my room and Mark would have Little Ling in his room. Um…yeah. My boys went in the bedroom that they usually would be BREAKING DOWN THE DOORS TO GET INTO. And sat at the closed door and whined and howled and hissed. I opened the door and let them both outside…and TWO seconds later Little Ling was back in my closet.

So sad. Poor little kitties.

I would switch sleeping arrangements but the TV is in the middle room where Mark stays up all hours. And I’ve been wanting the lights off, um, basically as soon as I walk in the door home from work the past week or so.

Sigh.

I miss my kitties. Over the weekend I slept out on the futon with them. I realize they have been with me since, well, since the beginning of the dating mess that is my life. Howie named Sasha Kitten. How long ago was that? Yeah. I need my kitties with me. And I bet I would cry a lot less if I wasn’t snuggled under the covers with the sweetest Little Ling who is no longer mine.
