Mama Russo.

That was hard to do…although we all knew it would happen and wanted Shar to be in peace, this day didn’t feel peaceful at all. I cried silently most of the car ride back to Buffalo. I shouldn’t be back…I should be in Cleveland.

And let me tell you, although my dad passed 18 years prior on September 5th, seeing the sign with Mama Russo’s name and that date really just tore me apart. I’ve shared so many important events with Jen in the past 10 years, I hate so much for her, that this has become one.

Nothing feels quite right.

The service really was beautiful though…and a dragonfly even made an appearance at the cemetery. (Hi Mama Ru!)
