Weird. I just realized I was invoking the MJ on Facebook yesterday afternoon during the storm…

Jennifer Smith DARKNESS FALLS ACROSS THE LAND (of downtown Buffalo) the two-o’clock hour is close at hand…

I suppose I’m supposed to write something  about Michael Jackson.

Hmmm. Do I go with funny?

How about other peoples funny?

Sources close to All Things Jennifer had the following words to say upon hearing about the passing of Michael Jackson. (If you want the blog cred, let me know.)

“I wonder if Brenda heard that Michael Jackson Beat It…”
“I wonder if Weird Al is going to die of a fart attack?”

Yes, yes. Funny people I know and love.

I was running around the Buffalo Spree Best of WNY awards last night basking in my our glory over winning an award. When I texted my friends and family everyone said CONGRATS! And most people followed with ‘Did you hear Micheal Jackson died?” By that point I had heard it about 27 times and was on my um, something or other cocktail…

I’m still not really caught up with the media and press frenzy, but I will be later. And then I will write a more serious post.

Wait…BOY MAN.

Mystery surrounds Michael Jackson’s sudden death

“It’s so sad and shocking,” said former Beatle Paul McCartney. “I feel privileged to have hung out and worked with Michael. He was a massively talented boy man with a gentle soul. His music will be remembered forever.”

How else does one say it?

But Jackson’s reputation as a singer and dancer was overshadowed in recent years by his increasingly abnormal appearance, and bizarre lifestyle, which included his friendship with a chimp and a preference for the company of children.
