“You’ve achieved success in your field when you don’t know whether what you’re doing is work or play.” -Warren Beatty

🙂

I am glad to report that I am finally successful! My work is play. Well, in that non profit do gooder way of course. I joined the Junior League, (which I am LOVING!) in my spare time, for play…and the mission and organization align directly with my personal values as well as my professional career.

I’m able to be a member of several wonderful organizations in the community through my position here at work. Again, organizations and committees that I would be working with on my own time. I get to do this for WORK. For work? How lucky am I?

I am also working on getting myself on a few boards in the community, all in good time. All in good time. And HOPEFULLY be a member of the Leadership Buffalo Class of 2007. Or 2008.

I am truly, truly blessed. And having a great time getting to know hundreds of new people in our community, working on different events and causes…projects. All in the name of play/work, er, same thing.
