I woke up, late this morning (insomnia problem) and checked my email to find that the LOWEST OF THE LOW will be playing at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto on Friday. A short set, beginning at 1:00 am, but with over 200 acts up and down the streets I am sure I will find *someplace to go*

Why? Because there is a HUGE music and film festival going on this Thursday-Saturday called the North by Northeast Music and Film Festival. 10th anniversary.

Woo Hoo! I am pretty sure that I will be heading up to TO on an early morning Greyhound ($16) to spend the day wandering aboot. Erin will meet up with me after work at 6 pm. I should have known about this festival in advance. I need to get my ass in gear here…depression be dammed there are things to do, places to see!

AND SATURDAY…well Buffalo shines this weekend…with the Music is Art Festival organized by Mr. Robby Goo. Over 50 bands. FREE!!!!!! This years benefactors are Cradle Beach Camp and the SPCA! Check it out! A VERY GOOD TIME last year!

PLUS it happens to fall in the midst of the HUGE ALLENTOWN ART FESTIVAL

What a weekend folks! And it just gets better since Mom, I mean Dar is coming into town with her friends to take her two daughters to see MAMMA MIA at Shea’s! Which, if you have not seen this one yet…well, it is a MUST DO! I LOVED the show! (THANKS MOM!)
