Twitter Happy Dance!

I’m pretty certain that anyone reading this blog knows that I have a *slight* addiction to the HGTV network.  If I tend to sit in front of the TV for any amount of time where HWMMS isn’t in charge of the programming, it’s on either HGTV or old DVR episodes of The Nanny.

(I’m leaving that as that….)

And I ADORE—simply ADORE the Property Brothers Drew and Jonathan Scott. Not only are they undeniably handsome and charming and witty, but each twin is totally my type. I love them both.

The only other way I spend an entire day in front of the TV would be on FOOTBALL SUNDAY. And this past Sunday was a doozy.  The BILLS lost, the PATRIOTS won, the BROWNS lost (against the Ravens) and well, the BRONCOS lost too.

Insert Jenny Tears and this tweet.

It’s true. The NFL made me cry. And the Property Brothers never make me cry. (Although if I would have turned away from the Broncos game I would have missed that AMAZING literal last minute play by Peyton Manning.)

Notice I did not tag the Property Brothers. Or HGTV. Or either of the brothers, all which have Twitter accounts. No hashtags either.

I just woke up this morning to find this in my Twitter feed.

HEE HEE! I WAS TWEETED BY DREW SCOTT! Fan girl SQUEEEEEEE!

Mr. Drew Scott (or person who manages Mr. Drew Scott’s twitter feed…) BRAVA! You just made my day. (More like week, but definitely day I was feeling way down in the doldrumy dumps earlier this morning.) Without any prompting or social media connecting through @ or # my tweet was glanced upon in the sea of many, interesting case study eh? I was just being myself.

Ah…Twitter. Happy Dance.  It’s the little things…

Aside: Happy man tears are totally different than Jenny NFL tears.
