Two Years Ago. Sometimes the Facebook memories application gives me a kick in the butt.

Like today.

April 24, 2015 I’ve completed about 75% of my 75 hour online course to become a Real Estate Agent…it’s time for some business procrastination, right? Like please? At least 25 of you so I can register an official Facebook name? Thank you.

Two years ago I was 75% complete, eh?

What’s my anniversary date of passing the school exam? August 4, 2015.

What’s my anniversary date of passing the NYS licensing exam? August 12, 2015.

Two years.

I have a lot A LOT of goal planning and business planning to get down on paper in the next few months to make this a successful venture. A little over 3 months away and we all know how time flies when you’re having fun.

Time to get serious. I think I needed this wake up today. You get out of it what you put into it and in the beginning of the year I was ALL READY TO PUT IN TO IT and the universe paved the way and then…well, life. Which is all well and good but at some point you have to break even and make money too. Being a buyer’s agent in this current market is quite challenging to say the least. Ask a myriad of my friends/clients…I picked the exact worst possible time in WNY to dive into this world and while I have all the patience and time in the world for my friends/clients to find their perfect future home, patience doesn’t cover the costs of just being a real estate agent—let alone put food on the table. (It does however allow time for me to plant my own food in a garden…)
