I don’t know who I’m gonna vote for…

And I simply must vote.

Seriously contemplating a write-in this year. And since I am serving as an election inspector for the State of New York, I for one can tell you I am looking forward to seeing all the write-in candidates names at the end of the night.

I can’t possibly stomach the thought of pulling the lever for anyone who voted for the bailout…

And then there’s Bob Barr. (Really? Bob Barr? Didn’t he AUTHOR the Defense Against of Marriage Act?)

Bailout angst provides a push for Libertarian Barr

“McCain just seems to make it worse and worse,” Barr said in an interview this week. “In the debate he gave this muddled answer about increasing government purchases of troubled mortgages. This is a self-described conservative Republican urging the Department of the Treasury to buy people’s mortgages.”

“This illustrates just how far the Republican Party in particular has slid,” Barr said. “One would expect it from the Democrats, but for Republicans to be championing this massive government intervention down to the level of purchasing individual mortgages is unbelievable.”

Can’t even begin to pretend that this isn’t EXACTLY HOW I FEEL ABOUT McCAIN and the Republican Party in general.

Voting the Libertarian ticket isn’t a bad idea at all, especially living in my BLUE BLUE State of New York which will be voting for the next President of the United States, Barack Obama.

But Bob Barr?

Is this election over yet? Someone bail me out when it’s over. Nyah, thinking about the four to eight years that will follow SPENDSPENDSPENDBIGGERBIGGERGOVERNMENTSPENDSPEND just leave me be. I’ll come back around in 8 years or so.
