More Americans biking to work to cut down on gasoline usage
I know Thomas is a HUGE advocate. And when I went to lunch with, she suggested it as well.
I used to LOVE riding my bike when I was little and as a teenager. All over the place. Up and down the driveways, trails, dirt paths, backroads. All day long. BUT I also had the good old school *breaks on peddles* anti-banana seat and hunched over type of bike.
Im too scared of skinny seats and hand breaks and gears and…and wearing a helmet? And driving on the street with the crazy drivers?
But besides that, I wouldn’t mind getting back into it…one of the things I love the most about the neighborhood I have lived in is the walk-ability. I haven’t had a car for years and 99% of the time, I am just fine without one. Except those moments when I have a sudden urge to pick up and drive to Rochester for the night
I could ride something like this? Right?
