“Yet what greater defeat could we suffer than to come to resemble the forces we oppose in their disrespect for human dignity?” — RBG
I’m in a crazy dark place right now.
I feel physically sick.
…and terrified.
I’m in a serious panic. As if the confirmation vote wasn’t enough the SCOTUS announcement of DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL COMMITTEE, ET AL. v. WISCONSIN STATE LEGISLATURE, ET AL. ON APPLICATION TO VACATE STAY at the same time is just terrifying and so blatantly in our face its hard to believe this is America. The lines mean nothing. The court is fixed.
From the dissent.
“And it discovered unusual delays in the United States Postal Service’s delivery of mail in the State.”
“And what will undermine the “integrity” of that process is not the counting but instead the discarding of timely cast ballots that, because of pandemic conditions, arrive a bit after Election Day.”
“Because the Court refuses to reinstate the district court’s injunction, Wisconsin will throw out thousands of timely requested and timely cast mail ballots. And today’s decision does not stand alone.”
Looks like it’s time to pull out the Constitutional Crisis Tarot Cards.
This is a dark day. But it’s important to remember why Republicans fought so hard to steal this Supreme Court seat.
They’ve realized a truth that shakes them to their core: The American people are not on their side.
And we’ll keep fighting until we take our democracy back.

Any political/religious/contentious issues aside…this person is not qualified to serve on the SUPREME COURT OF THE UNITED STATES. Period. As AWFUL as he is, Kavanaugh at least had experience. https://t.co/SrNNgeDoK9
