All The Pretty Dresses!
I can’t get enough of pretty dresses. Seriously. Ya’all know me. When’s the last time you saw me not wearing a dress or skirt? (Um, yeah. Never. Unless you are HWMMS and you see me running around the house um, sometimes bottomless.)
One of my not-so-secret secrets is….I’ve been a member of Gwynnie Bee on and off for the last, whoa—SIX years. Think Netflix for clothes except you get the chance to buy what you like—and after the seasons are over, you get a chance to buy retired clothes at a crazy deep discount. Sizes from 0 – 32. ALL SHAPES AND SIZES!
So, in case you are thinking hmmmmm….I should try this too. Here’s a link. You get a free month to try.
But warning, you might get hooked.
Gwynnie Bee has much much more than just dresses, althoughI admit I’m a big fan of all the dresses: formal dresses, casual dresses, work dresses (I think they currently have at least 5 gingham prints I have waiting in my closet for me!) They have blazers and coats. Jeans. Shorts. Funky blouses. ALL THE THINGS.
And some things you would never think you would want to try on but hey—put it back in the bag after wearing once and a new item comes a few days later!
Ahem—Thinking of You- Hunter Green/Black Lumberjack Flannel/Leather Jacket.
CHECK THEM OUT! So many items to choose from. And I get a new item withing 3-4 days after returning. They are amazingly fast with turnaround.
OH LAST THING I LOVE ABOUT GWYNNIE BEE. You can prioritize items in your closet. For example, if Curtain Up is on the agenda in a few weeks and I need a formal dress, I can browse through my 75 items I have saved away and pick only the formal ones on priority for them to choose from.
I currently have a closet full of green dresses on priority because I need a green dress for my part in one of the Staged Shorts plays coming up in a few weeks. I play “Spirit of Acceptance” and she will be wearing a green dress.
(I REALLY REGRET NOT BUYING THESE AND THEY ARE CURRENTLY ON MY PRIORITY LIST ONCE AGAIN.)
I did however buy this one. ($17!)
