Actual image of me working this weekend. Ha! (All morning shifts too.)
What Was I Thinking?
I’m glad I didn’t attempt to squeeze my fat ass into a “regular person” size theater seat for several hours surrounded by a sold out crowd of people not wearing masks last night.
MISERABLE. Miserable night. I don’t remember the last time I had such evil GERD while trying to fall asleep.
My intuition/gut is telling me the immunosuppression drug I’m taking for Psoriatic Arthritis/Psoriasis is the cause of the light-headedness. I have an appointment with the Dermatologist soon – and Rheumatologist so yes, I will be addressing this issue. My primary care appointment is at the end of November – if the dizzy/vertigo continues after stopping the drug, heart tests, just in case. (Despite my heart being one of the few organs without issues.) I also need a referral for audiologist/ENT because DIZZY VERTIGO TINNITUS HEARING ISSUES.
In the grand scheme of things, my illnesses are hardly a scratch of what other people endure day in and day out.
Sigh…
After work I simply had to do SOMETHING outdoors. It was 70 degrees! I harvested Turkey Tail Mushrooms.
Medicinal, not culinary. Next step, dry them and crush into powder.
That’s not too much work right? I was feeling ok so I made chicken enchiladas, cabbage and apple chicken sausage in the crockpot and made garlic broccoli tomato angel hair pasta for dinner.
While cleaning up the kitchen and doing the endless dishes (new dishwasher was ordered and scheduled to be delivered at end of next week!) my eyes got really heavy and a wave of fatigue hit me hard.
Breathless. Lightheaded. I did a nebulizer treatment and a few minutes of legs on the wall and focused on deep breaths.
All from doing the dishes and cooking?
Really?
The last few days I’ve been laying low. Naps happen when I work the 6am shift. My body hates me so on days with the evil starting hour, I don’t *generally make any plans.
I guess tonight I overdid it. I should know better by now.
