Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage…

There’s a very odd, off vibe happening in my world right now – eerie – reminds me of that episode of the Walking Dead when all is quiet and odd before Rick wakes up.

If you’re the praying type, pray for healthcare workers and the hospitals. They are not ok. So many out sick. So many. Long waits. Long lines. This is not good. And we have weeks to go before numbers *hopefully* fall.

Now rant time:

  • I know we all have our own comfort & risk levels… But, I’m FILLED w/ anxiety seeing people in my life going out shopping, eating in restaurants…not getting boosted, not wearing good masks. The stress and worry is real. I must be the only one not going anywhere <but work.>
  • During my lunch break today -within a matter of minutes- there were suddenly 10 people in the cafeteria all eating together unmasked and I was across the room sitting alone and entered when no one was there almost had a panic attack and got up and left.
  • I JUST WANT TO SCREAM COVER YOUR UGLY FREAKING NOSE ALREADY AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARUGH.
  • I heard the updated report about Williamsville this morning on the way into work and I am filled with RAGE –Williamsville approves resolution opposing all state, county COVID-19 mandates and their enforcement. It’s a MASK FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. I don’t understand. I will never understand. I hate this all so much. (I’m holding back all the expletives I feel towards these people.) ENOUGH. No Williamsville for me. Not that I spend money there anyhow – but there are people I love dearly who live there. Grrrrr.
