Long time ago in a blogless world far, far away Little Jenny was blogless. Erin created a blog, she occasionally posted, but not too frequently.

And I was SICK to DEATH of sending out great Jen rants to all the email friends and family near and far and never getting any response in return. I didn’t know who was reading or deleting.

Too many emails. But, I’ve been this person since college. My nickname, smithj2 was bestowed upon me because that was my email address! I sent out mass amounts of fun, informative email. Plus, it was sort of my job to be the cheerful email person as Spirit chair of ADPi.

Fast Forward to All Things Jen(nifer)

Now, instead of email responses…I seek comments, at least I know that my friends are out there reading, even if they are silent lurkers. Although, admittedly many of them say they don’t have the time to read and I assume many miss out on the inside jokes that run rampant with my links I post. But, at least I’m keeping in touch, right?

The one thing I never expected was to find an outlet for new friends. Blog friends. Who knew! The internet is a powerful social tool.
