When you have as many cats as we do at Weber Wonderland, you grow your own catnip.
In my perfect world, I have a HUGE patch of catnip. The patch I currently have growing is doing quite nicely, but it isn’t spreading as much as I thought it would. And I’ve planted a TON of seeds in that area, the entire section should be covered by now, but instead I think I have about 20 plants in a patch? Enough for two large cookie sheets of leaves for my first cutting.
I have to get better at cutting too, I let it grow far too long, I know it always comes back—must harvest more often so I can dry it out and share with other friends with kitty cats!
(I still think it’s odd thinking we only have four kitties now instead of five, sigh.)
