TONIGHT we are celebrating HWMMS having a rockstar week.

He got the part he wanted in The Sound of Music (Herr Zeller) which is no surprise when he showed up wearing THIS to the audition,

AND THE MOST IMPORTANT!!! HWMMS got a nice raise and promotion when signing his new permanent contract with the company he’s been working with all year.

This is the first time since we’ve been together that we both have one full-time permanent job with benefits. (Even better, working for organizations we really enjoy.) It’s been about 10 years in the making. Can you say CELEBRATE!

I asked what he wanted for dinner (I was thinking deeeeeep dish meat lasagna) but he requested steak, potato, corn and salad. Super simple and tasty.

Also, exhale. Finally.
