Cotton. I hate the feel of cotton. Hate hate hate cotton balls. And so far in life I assumed I was alone. But in the midst of a Theraflu induced haze I posted this on Facebook last night. (Ready to be ridiculed of course!)

Jennifer L. Smith Am I the only one out there who HATESHATESHATES cotton balls and the feel of them? I opened a new big bottle of Tylenol and there is was staring at me. AAAAH! Would I rather have a fever or feel that cotton scratch along the side of the bottle? Tough choice.

And much MUCH TO MY SURPRISE I HAVE FRIENDS WHO FEEL THE SAME!

Thought I was the only one who felt that way! I would rather hear finger nails on a chalk board than the “sound” of a cotton ball LOL

No. My dad had such an aversion to them, he used to make my mom pull the cotton out of the bottle every time he opened one.

OMG. I have NEVER heard of anyone who shared my aversion to cotton balls before. I can’t wait to tell my husband, who has tormented me for years and insisted I was the only one!

I feel better already! Except for that moment last night when I had to remove the cotton ball by myself. I can’t even watch someone else do it…ick!
