Dani Cat. In other cat news, the last time we saw Dani cat over on All Things Jennifer she was doing…better.  Starting to come around! Hurrah!

Well, come around she has. He Who Makes Me Smile and I now have dubbed Dani Cat our most affectionate feline friend!

Her favorite place to hang out is still mostly behind the one couch, but that’s only if she isn’t on one of our laps. Yay! A lapcat! Dani has such soft long pretty hair and is light as a feather. She’s uber-affectionate right up to the point where she WANTSNOTHINGTODOWITHYOUANYMORE and then tends to nip and scratch and run away. Typical cat.

Dani occasionally sleeps in the bedroom with us now too. She likes to sneak up to our heads and lick our hair in the morning. She has somewhat accepted living with the dog Henri and the one cat Tubby, but my boys still aren’t fond of others so she stays away from them.

Oh yeah, she also likes to help He Who Makes Me Smile study his Derby Referee Signals. Hahaha.

Our little Dani has come a long, long way…thank goodness. I know she misses her mama, but I hope she ends up loving us just as much. So far, so good. Of course that was before we needed to take her to the vet for possible ear mites…
