You guys look at this frog print dress from Gwynnie Bee.
Now, look closer. It’s a dissecting a frog print dress? Is that possible?
I think it’s possible! And I am thinking who on earth decides this is a print for a dress? And if they do decide it is a print for a dress, who above them decides it’s ok to create. And then who buys it?
Um, it might be me actually. I might have no choice but to buy this dress because it could quite possible be the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen. (And the colors are pretty.) AND it is currently on super duper clearance sale at my good friend the Gwynnie Bee Outlet for only $7.
Oh and Colleen, if you want one…message me your size. FROGS!
And if you’ve never heard of Gwynnie Bee well now, you’re in for a treat. I’ve been a member off and on for the last few years, from the beginning actually and I could NOT be a happier customer. It’s also my not-so-secret of wearing many fabulous dresses all the time.
Gwynnie Bee is a clothing RENTAL service—basically you fill up a virtual closet with items you want to try on—and depending on your subscription level, they send you a piece or two or three —or more to wear at your leisure. You can wear it once and send right back (in their handy dandy postage paid purple bags!) OR you can wear the item 100 times. OR you can choose to “buy the item in your closet” if you lovelovelove it… As soon as you return the item, a new one is sent. And I mean right away too, within two-three days at the most. I can easily wear two new outfits a week with a one-item-per month subscription.
As a member Gwynnie Bee is ALWAYS offering discounts and coupons and sales. So that $120 dress at home that you might be wearing and love but—-$120, no-thank-you, could end up being 50% or 60% off with a special deal. And if you wait long enough—members are treated to shop at their outlet for pieces of clothing that they are retiring from the storefront. WHICH means you can get a dissected frog print dress for $7.
Gwynnie Bee is for plus-size women. Although they have A LOT of clothes starting at size 10. Which to me is certainly not plus-size. And the sizes go up to 32. So it’s honestly not just those XXL —which are really size 14 type items. They add new items weekly and I closet the ones I love RIGHT AWAY. You can choose PRIORITY on certain items as well—for example the dress I wanted to wear to the Springville-Griffith Community Education Foundation Wine Tasting last weekend—-yeah, Gwynnie Bee baby. And how seasonally appropriate! (I’m the one in the photo below wearing the red, wine, Fall color dress—surprise surprise, me in color?!)
Gywnnie Bee has formal clothing. Blazers, jackets, shorts, tank tops, skirts, jeans, sweaters. ALL THE THINGS. My wardrobe is a happy place because of them, I can’t recommend enough—you should try.
In fact if you do try—through my link? You get a free month and I get $25 to spend! WHEEE! Another 3 frog dresses at the outlet!
Seriously, you owe this to yourself. PLUS if you eat a little too much at Thanksgiving—you can order the next size up for that dress you have your eye on in your closet for the Christmas fundraiser the following week.
