Meatloaf Musings
Me: Look honey, I found a meatloaf recipe with prunes in it!
HWMMS: No. If you make that I’ll divorce you.
(Two hours later.)
Me: Honey, look in the oven.
HWMMS: I know, you made meatloaf.
Me: Nope, even better.
HWMMS: Bacon? ……..oooh! Bacon covered meatloaf! I might just keep you yet.
My recipe?
Ground Beef, Bread Crumbs, Eggs, Ketchup, Brown Mustard, Chives, Parmesan Cheese, Random Fresh Herbs from the Garden (Thyme, Oregano, Cilantro, Sage, Parsley) and leftover Mediterranean Olive Tapenade. Cover with chopped pieces of thick bacon. Cook for 60 minutes at 375.
