Ah…longing for the days last week when life was filled with two toddler boys, central air and all the TV you could ever dream of asking for, on demand.

During my time in Cleveland I watched a few movies after my friends went to bed. Surprise, we are on different time schedules. They have a 3 and 5 year old. And I have…all night to be awake!

Despite having every channel known to man on a LARGE screen TV all to myself in the basement bedroom, I found not too much worth watching. I found three movies that kept my interest. And they were all deliciously girly and cheezy.

Sex and the City: The Movie

Yep. I finally watched the first SATC movie. I was a fan of the series, but never really cared to see the movie in theaters or apparently anywhere else for that matter. Carrie drives me NUTS and BIG even more nuts. I enjoyed the scene where Big breaks Carrie’s heart. Stupid woman should have known better. Me, I’m a fan of Steve so I felt sorry for him during the movie. Charlotte and Samantha, eh who cares. I watched it. The end.

27 Dresses

SURPRISE! I actually *liked* this movie! I’m not a fan of the lead actress at all but for some reason I enjoyed her in this role. Besides—27 DRESSES! My favorite number! I learned not to fall in love with your boss and then fall in love with someone else and then kiss your boss. Good to know. Adorable couple. Cute movie.

Zack and Miri Make a Porno

Not sure why I decided on this one but I’m glad I stuck with it cause it ended up being, being…um, dare I say somewhat *cute* even with the porno aspects. Funny movie. Really enjoyed both of the leads and watching the friendship turn to love.
