Oh…and the landlord is awesome (so far) I signed the lease on Friday and gave him tickets to the BPO. He already has told me he has season tickets for the Sabres and offers tickets to his favourite tenants (who I am quickly becoming he said!)

And the best part? No joke. My security deposit when he handed me my key (to the back door where I can have access to the attic early if I want.) $125. Total. Because I’ve been flexible with the move in date and he thinks I will be an excellent tenant.

Are you kidding me? I didn’t even have to scratch two nickels of worry together to come up with that deposit after payday. Dear God! $125. TOTAL. And a pro-rated first month rent of $100 off when he gives me the key on June 7th.

No cat deposit. Nada. No worries. Yes, the kitchen is small and a wee galley but as I was thinking, so was the one in the gorgeous condo that the German Man I dated lived in.

And the front room really is adorable. And all hardwood floors. And the backyard. And location. AND PRICE? I’m saving SO MUCH on rent per month about $200 in fact!

Can’t beat that.
