• No Foolin’ – Remember in the before times – on April 1st – when people would post ridiculous things to make you feel like a fool for believing? Those were the days.
  • At the beginning of each new month – instead of Rabbit, Rabbit — say Tarriff, Tarriff- and if we’re lucky, they go away again until next month.
  • AND for something completely ridiculous my left eye has been twitching all day – I looked up what it could mean (ahem) — a big change is coming or someone is talking about you. Some believe that your left eyebrow twitching is a sign from your subconscious that you need to be aware of your surroundings. Yikes.

No Foolin’ – My body does not remember waking up rested.

unrefreshing sleep

Unrefreshing sleep. Yep. I believe the last time I felt refreshed by sleep was after having anesthesia for an endoscopy. Came out of that HIGH as a kite and then slept a hard, deep 10 hours. Bliss. The joys of autoimmune perimenopausal sleep apnea depression. (Am I forgetting anything? OH WAIT #LONGCOVID – hence, brain fog.)

My baseline everyday — is likely a “normal healthy person” tired day. I’m ALWAYS fatigued. It’s just some days more than others. Spoon count matters.

With that said, find yourself a bestie who comes to visit and LITERALLY BRINGS YOU A JAR OF SPOONS. Thank you thank you thank you Colleen for the much needed respite. I think it’s my turn to visit you next – Seneca Falls trip?

Spreading Joy is an act of #resistance.

I wrote this snippet a few days ago but — no foolin’ it’s a whole mood.

The older and wiser I get, the more I just want to gather all my soul-sister witchy besties together and live in a magical, self-sustaining homestead. A safe place where we take turns cuddling, crying, and caring for each other, until our end days. Too much to ask?

April. 2025. Here we go…
