My 9 year old niece had a great one-sided conversation with robo Bill Clinton today.
“Why hello Mr. Clinton. Yes, I have heard about that. And yes, you are welcome for my support at the polls tomorrow.”
CLICK.
Funny the first time. Even the second time. But by the time the landline phone rang EIGHT times in a two hour period I was thankful we only use our cell phones and I’m no longer affiliated with any political party. (Although, I do miss voting in the primaries, but after 20 years of bullshit with the Republican party, I went Indie two years ago and never looked back.)
Me?
Political Science/News Junkie? Not care about an election?
Yep.
Call me jaded but I’m so sick and tired of it all. The horrific advertisements and marketing is killing my love for politics. Why WHY does it have to be that way? Who WHO actually votes because of one of those awful misrepresented commercials in the first place? No, don’t tell me I’d really rather not know.
I don’t listen to the news, I don’t try to read the news. I skim over current events of the day of course, but delve into it all? Not so much anymore. It’s all so damn depressing.
Tomorrow is election day, and I could care less.
Good job politicians, you turned one of your crazy groupies into a head in the sand just leave me alone type of voter. AND YES I will still vote.
But I wonder who I should write in…
