Tonight: Reality vs. Wish List

Tonight He Who Makes Me Smile is making a TV appearance. No, not on America’s Most Wanted (his quote, not mine) but rather dressed up as a War of 1812 participant for the WNED fund drive.

War of 1812 “The War of 1812” explores this significant event from divergent points of view. Leading historians, battle re-enactors and historic images help bring this defining conflict to life.

I got home just in time for a kiss before he ran out the door. Boo. I hate not seeing each other!

However this means I have the house and the evening all to myself…what to do?

What I WANT to do?

1. Wrap Presents for He Who Makes Me Smile.
2. Decorate. (We have so many boxes all over the place but only the tree in the living room up with lights!) Combining my stuff, his stuff and his mama’s stuff. We need a bigger house (and at least one more Christmas Tree!)
3. Create Cookie List.
4. Start Baking Cookies.
5. Watch Sabres beat the Flyers.
6. Watch WNED to see my love (except I KNOW if I try to flip between this and hockey while the DVR is recording I will end up goofing something up, so I need to be very careful.)
7. Finish writing out the next 80 Holiday Cards.
8. Cuddle with Sasha Kitten.
9. Blog about Kissmas Bash

What am I likely to do?

Nap on the couch with the Sabres game on and stare at the undecorated tree in the living room.
