September Garden Harvests

A round up of our September Garden Harvests. (At least most of them!)

9/7

Roses, tomatoes, beans, lettuce. BEANS! Carrots.

CORN! Hibiscus. And tomatoes to ripen.

Interesting harvest today. Holy Basil, Tong Ho, Hibiscus, Marshmallow Root, Cabbages, Kohlrabi, Broccoli and Horehound. And another basket of tomatoes to turn red…

Weber Wonderland has smelled like sauce for weeks. Every few days another crockpot full of tomatoes. And there are several bushels out there still ripening on the vine.

Today in the garden I found lots of ridiculously shaped radishes, one final hidden cucumber, chard – stems and leaves ready for processing, handful of dried beans and so much lettuce.

Purple peppers! And dill. So much dill now of course since the cucumbers are done. 🤷🏻‍♀️

9/27-9/28

Luffa, Hungarian Wax Peppers, Bok Choy, Chives, Calendula, Carrots, Radishes, Borage.

RANDOM BLUE SQUASH WE DID NOT PLANT AND FOUND IN COMPOST while digging up the Sunchokes from the compost pile we also didn’t plant, Potato Squash, Pepita Squash, Rose Petals.

Another basket of tomatoes! 🍅 While I’m not a fan of the heat, I’m crazy thankful to have so many tomatoes ripening on the vine still!
