- Today I found this sweet teeny rogue daffy-dill – daffodils are my very favorurite! and picked it as a reminder of my Sunday Small Day of Joy.
- Today, while having porch coffee with HWMMS -and the brindle duo, basking in the glorious sunshine – I was shuffling my tarot cards and he said 27 – so I picked the 27th card and it was this. THE SUN.
- Today I napped in the hammock and listened to the birds while soaking up Vitamin D. The porch really is my happy place. (Thank you Talk With Colleen for the sign(s)!)
- Today I did four loads of laundry – all bedding – and hung them on the line to dry. The smell is INTOXICATING.
- Today I played in dirt weeding the herb garden. In between the rosettes of chickweed I found – Chamomile! Garlic! Oregano! Lovage and surprise – the Lavender came back this year too – what?!
I do not want today to end. I do not want to engage in the real world. Please don’t make me Monday tomorrow. Today was a well-needed Small Day of Joy.
“Autocracy is exhausting and it’s designed to exhaust you … the worst enemy of autocracy is joy. Do something that you can do … and be joyful. Have some joy.” — Joy Reid
