Solidarity. Making. Being part of The Foundry I find joy every day in *community relating* and witnessing the way people show up for one another. For me, making isn’t just about what we create with our hands. It’s about connection.
I’ll be working tomorrow during the general strike because my job is about people lifting each other up to build something better together. Makerspaces exist because people believe in sharing: Tools! Space! Ideas! Knowledge! Support!
My wish? That each of us finds a way today and everyday, big or small, to support our community. Share your skills. Protect safe spaces. Check in on those around you. Make good trouble.
Solidarity is a form of making too.
