This weekend I have pretty much been in front of the computer. Trying to sort. You know, pages and pages of bookmarks. And notebooks full of tidbits of information, to write, to do, to blog. Overwhelming, really. I have notebook, upon notebook to go through. And folders upon folders of bookmarks.

My notebooks have no chronological order. I write phone numbers, book titles, song lyrics, names of recipes I want to try, articles I want to blog about, websites to look up, lists of things to do and buy at the grocery store, on whatever page I flip to first. It’s actually quite funny to try and decipher what the hell some of it means months later!

Oh, and the best thing is…Mark is guilty of the same thing, exceot instead of notebooks, he uses posty notes. And napkins. They are EVERYWHERE. 🙂 Peas in a pod are we…

What have I accomplished so far?

I managed to start a comprehensive list of my favorite shopping pages.

So if you suddenly see a bunch of random blog postings, and new things on the sidebar, wait, aren’t they USUALLY random? You know why. I love that in WordPress I can press publish for a future date and the post will just appear at the right time, I have saved many posts already this way (didn’t want to overwhelm my readers!)

And that’s my story. Oh, I also did a little baking, made those Apple Bars I talked about a few days ago

Hmmm. I keep thinking that it should taste more like CAKE. But instead they are definitely BARS, cookie bars. I added walnuts and golden raisins to the mix so they are quite chunky. I think next time I make them I will forgo the frosting, and perhaps add just a drizzle. (Man these suckers are sweet!) Some ice cream would help too…

And so goes my weekend. Smith, out. Going to let the man use the computer for a bit while I read.
