I adore Sunday Cookin’ in the Fall. Listening to the BILLS game. Making a big ol’ mess of comfort foods to last the week ahead (one for this week, one for the freezer!)
Roasted Chicken on Bed of Herbs
Baked Spaghetti (One Red Sauce & One White Sauce)
Chuck Roast & Onions in Red Wine (for future French Onion Soup)
Traditional Meatloaf
Chicken Pot Pies
Sausage and Cabbage (OMG THIS PHOTO IS HORRIBLE!)
I also processed the rest of the basil, cilantro and (most) of the parsley from the herb garden in oil and stored in the freezer.
Picked and brought indoors the rosemary and sage (gonna see if I can keep them growing indoors during the winter…)
Drying Sunflowers Marigolds Calendula and Horehound.
Took most of the dried beans out of their shells…
And cut up a bunch of squash for the freezer.
I love a good Sunday Afternoon.
