You know you live in a (wonderful) small, supportive small town when you check the guest list of ticket holders for the night’s performance and realize you know at least 1/3 of the audience.
So. Many. Friendly. Faces. Thank you all for coming!!!
Being a part of a musical and making people smile makes me very, very happy.
Do you know how many people it takes to pull off a performance for a community theater musical? Orchestra. Backstage. Lights. Costumes. Props. Set Design. Ushers. Intermission. Actors. Directors. At least 50-60 people. All volunteers. Countless hours. All because we’re crazy…well and because we love it.

Welcome to River City Iowa!
I received the sweetest compliment from one of the kiddos tonight backstage…”When you are in character, you STAY in character!” -Ms. Brooke
I told her it was because I AM ETHEL TOFFELMIER. (Make sure to use the Tony Stark voice “I am Iron Man” when reading.)
A jolly, comfortable girl…✔️
Proud Auntie to all the kids in town…✔️
A little bit goofy and clumsy but lovable.✔️

You really ought to give Iowa a try.
