The power of a good book…

Last night, I couldn’t quiet my mind. (I admit this is me, most nights.)

Past my bedtime, lights off and getting later by the minute.

So instead of *writingthinkingblogging in my head* I decided to pick up “The Valley of the Horses” and almost regretted it because I didn’t want to put it down!!!

I got to the part where Ayla curled up to sleep with the baby horse, cried and set the book down for the night. And fell right asleep.

Just now? I brought the laptop into the bedroom (I seem to be blogchatty tonight.) and when I saw the opened book on my nightstand, I couldn’t help myself.

“Oooh!”

Yes. Out loud.

My cats know I’m crazy, so all is well.

I love a book that makes me go “Oooh!” out loud!

Of course I now took a camera phone pic of the book, uploaded it to the laptop and am blogging instead of reading…
