Windshield Wiper Fluid. Oops.
That would be the love of my life with the new plastic siphon he bought at Home Dept after work to get rid of the WINDSHIELD washer fluid I put in the radiator overflow container by accident.
You see…I got a call from the vet saying Simba Cat’s ashes were ready to be picked up. This of course made me sad. I went out for lunch to get away for a bit and decided to stop and buy washer fluid at Delta Sonic, since we noticed over the weekend the car was empty. I came back to the garage and opened the hood and saw the empty plastic container and filled it up…then texted Chuck to let him know I bought a bunch extra…only to find out he already DID fill the fluid over the weekend. (Of course he did, the man is amazing and treats me like a goddess, he patched up the flat tire Saturday night, took the car for a test drive, filled it with gas AND apparently bought wiper fluid and filled it too!)
Impossible? I just filled the empty……………………
Oh crap. What on earth did I do?
Um, yeah.
Since I didn’t turn on the car at that point nothing needed to be drained, just siphoned out. And you know, I have a siphon upstairs in the office and everything. Boo. I called the roadside people but they wanted to tow the car, so I had decided I would just drive to the Delta Sonic quickly after my work meeting.
While in the meeting, He Who Made Me Smile left work a little early (he wasn’t feeling great, he was going to come home to nap…) but instead he stopped at the vet and then Home Depot and then drove into the city to “rescue” me. All with a smile on his face too. Man, I wasn’t smiling I was very angry at myself for being so stupid. He drove the car just in case something was wrong and gave me the truck. We made it home just fine. Problem solved.
So now, I’ve made a promise to never touch anything on the car or truck ever, except for filling it with gas. And this is a good promise to make.
Love you babe.
Your Trainwreck Fiance, Jenny
