As a person who once lived and breathed and studied law & politics knowing I can’t handle listening to the (2nd) Impeachment Trial in real time for self-care makes me a bit sad. I had SO MUCH RAGE while listening to Kavanaugh hearings, I haven’t listened to any live since.

All I did was scroll a tiny bit through Twitter and I’m in a sad, dark place. God bless all of you paying attention to the trial.

Had to go to the bank for work. Had radio still on from this morning and heard impeachment trial and had to turn off immediately. I can’t hear about 1/6 without feeling sick. I can’t be the only one…

Would 1/6 have happened if Trump was held accountable for his words on social media platforms? I’m of course relieved he is banned now, but… Sigh.

I want to exist in the Marvel multiverse 2021 timeline where Vision goes to the Senate and grabs the Republicans by their face and they are finally broken of the evil spell…

How do you not vote guilty? How does America just sweep the impending not guilty vote under the carpet and move on? How did all this occur only a few weeks ago? It feels like a liferime.

It’s reprehensible to me that we have become a nation where horrible people who once lurked in the shadows are now boldly existing as elected officials in our government.

How do all these “lawyers” still have active law licenses?

Imagine students in American History class 50 years from now learning about our present day reality. I pray they will have a better life…

Tonight’s deep thought…how many Americans would still be alive today if Senate Republicans convicted Trump? Pence is by far no angel of mercy, but I imagine he would have at least masked up and not encourage bleach as a cure. Maybe I’m wrong.
