The last two days I worked the 6am shift. Which means I have pretty much accomplished nothing outside of work – except spending time in bed.

  • Monday – Ooof. Hella irritable. WHAT GIVES. I almost fell asleep on 30 minute lunch break, struggled mightily to get through the end of my shift.
  • Yesterday, All I did was carry in two bags from car and I was winded. I want to cry, went right to bed.
  • Today, 2pm shift. (After spending all morning in bed.) Learning to deal with very real limitations. Frustrating, but necessary.

Up until this past year, I knew about RA but had NO IDEA what it really was – I’m now devouring every piece of information I can find on the topic – and still waiting for an appointment with a Rheumatologist – April 2022.
