Woke up overnight so very confused – why do I smell food – and then remembered I have a corned beef brisket in the crockpot cooking along with cabbage. Mmmm.

Aside – I’ve still never corned my own beef – ha. 

The brisket is on sale this week at Aldi. So we scooped up two. As soon as this one is devoured, the other one will take its place in the juice. Perpetual Corned Beef – well, tis the season! Must remember to pick up more while still on sale.
