The Foundry hosts event to help community organizations

Not shown from behind the scenes? A last-minute pivot to hold the event outdoors, despite the thunderstorm warning for 12:45 PM. It started to rain minutes after the last person drove away! Turns out our doghouses were too large to move from the woodshop through the Foundry doors.

Also, for those of you who know: scheduling ONE event with 5 different non-profit organizations at the same time, in the middle of June, including three classrooms of students? Impossible. Yet, somehow… it all worked out. Magic? Perhaps….

I also am in LOVE with the fact that the thumbnail of this post shows our GIANT SCISSORS – I brought them along to The Foundry after my time with the Springville Area Chamber of Commerce.

EVERYONE LOVES GIANT SCISSORS.
