Giant Puppy has a million nicknames (Jordie, Jordache, Puppers, Jordana Banana, Lady Jordan) but I think SWGIE (She Who Gets Into Everything) is my newest favourite. Yesterday’s loot included: papa’s earplug box, a mason jar of plantain oil from the tavern, a two foot broccoli plant from the garden, my missing eyeball purse, minutes from the Springville-Griffith Community Education Foundation, Inc. meeting and my new Crown Hill book.

Remember how I wanted to get a giant hunting dog to scare away the deer? Yeah…Jordie just saw her first two deer this morning on the other side of the driveway. She stopped dead in her tracks for a good minute before attempting a half-assed woof. The bark scared the deer and they ran past the pond into the woods…which in turn scared giant puppy and had her running into the house. I think her Plott Hound card should be revoked.
