#Day30 #SelfQuarantine

I’m FUCKING FEISTY. People in crowds at the park, beach, church, golf clubs, dept store shopping? WTAF? THIS IS NOT OK. The easiest thing we could ever be asked to “sacrifice” for the common good – DO NOTHING. STAY HOME. WE CAN’T EVEN GET THIS RIGHT AS A HUMAN RACE?

In a month, or less…people hanging out at church on Palm Sunday or gathering with friends at home (cause it doesn’t really matter, it’s just a few people) will know someone who DIES FROM COVID-19. How many will consider they might have been a part of the cause? I bet, zero.

STAY. THE. FUCK. HOME. I do not, will not, cannot understand people right now. And I do not, will not, cannot feel sympathy for those out and about who will then say “oh I didn’t know and now I have it, sorry.” Even WORSE when someone else will DIE BECAUSE YOU CAN’T STAY HOME.

People without symptoms carry this virus. It could be you.

“For people who are really struggling with isolation, is forming a “closed circle” of friends a safe and acceptable strategy? The experts explained why, unfortunately, it’s not as good an idea as you might think”

I’ve been SICK and on #selfquarantine since MARCH 6th.

My interaction with the public in 30 freaking days:

  1. Doctors – ONCE.
  2. Pharmacy Drive-Thru & Grocery Pickup – ONCE.
  3. Talk to neighbor by pond 150 ft away – ONCE.
  4. Talk to neighbor by woods 150 ft away – ONCE.

I’ve been sick, so maybe I’m more cautious but COME ON.

On a personal health note, my pulse oximeter reading has been at 99 the last two times I checked and I’m pretty sure it hasn’t been that high in a month. Perhaps I’m over the hump…

AAAAAAAAAAAAARUGH.
