The work is online.
The work includes presence.
The work includes absence.
The work is virtual.
The work is in the streets.

The work is in art.

The work is at the polls.
The work is where we are.— Be A King (@BerniceKing) June 2, 2020
When the world is burning, it feels impossible to take a moment to step back, breathe, and pray for a better tomorrow.
Sometimes, mother nature gives you a sign, a sign of hope.
Most mornings, I grab a cup of coffee and head out to the porch for my first few sips. HWMMS usually comes upstairs from work and takes a break with me and we sit for a few minutes just enjoying the stillness.
We have a small collection of mugs lined up in our coffee bar. I’d guess at least two dozen. Of course, out of those mugs, only a few are considered the favorites and used more frequently – Rabbit Hash Kentucky, WBFO, Siracha Rooster (Aside – I just realized while typing this that my most frequently used mugs are all bright red.) I *Heart* Farting, Life is Good Dragonfly. Sometimes I choose one of the nicer pieces of pottery we’ve collected over the years, but not often. This morning, I chose our honeymoon mug. A Blue Agate coffee mug from Bennington Pottery
I can’t recall EVER using this mug to tell you the truth. But I did today. And when I walked on to the porch, HWMMS greeted me with – LOOK THERE’S A LUNA MOTH ON THE PORCH!
When we were on our honeymoon —- I saw my first luna moth. Well, actually several luna moths.
Coincidence? Synchronicity? (I’m listening…)
“They are born, they transform, they love, they die, and then are again reborn. Their cycles are short, as are our years while we are here. We are reminded to make the most of our moments and to live and love to the fullest.” –The Luna Moth & The Full Moon, the Spiritual Significance of Signs that Appear in our Lives
“It is important to note that the moth just doesn’t blindly fly to the light. Instead, it remains vigilant in the entire path that leads to light. This reminds us to stay vigilant in all our quests while keeping our intuition and judgment intact.” – Spiritual Meaning Of Luna Moth
While much of the world has blacked out on social media for the day, I think I’m called to do the opposite.
Or posting a black square without attached hashtags.
I’m just leaving my profile pic black for…a while. https://t.co/lBIGNS0UjN— Jennifer L.S. Weber (@AllThingsJen) June 2, 2020
