I’m so so so so so so so SO thankful for my theater family (and new friends) (and more time with old) the past two years. If not for finding community theater, I would have been in bed wallowing in my depression for most of 2018-2019.

MY POINT? It’s NEVER TOO LATE to try something new, discover a new passion. Go take that class (by yourself!), try out for a play, buy a canvas and paint, attend that lecture on 18th century cooking methods, pick up a book outside of your normal genre, go to that concert with a random friend and chat with the people next to you, find a church and light a candle, try a yoga class with goats, ask that new person in your life you met recently on a friend date for coffee or to go see a movie, bring your friends to a woodworking class at The Foundry (oh wait, shameless plug…) VOLUNTEER for your favorite nonprofit (Springville Center for the Arts?) (oh wait, another shameless plug…) Volunteer for a political campaign. Host a game night.  Go for a hike. Go sledding! Or curling! Or ice skating! Or skiing! Plant a seed, start a garden! Decide to learn how to cook that one fancy dessert you always wanted to try! Write a story. Start a blog (All Things Jennifer has been going strong now for….gulp 16 years!) Do something. Do anything.

Open up your world and let in new light for 2020.
