I hate fancy TV remotes.
No matter what, I cannot figure them out. My brother even wrote out a road map. And for some reason when I turn on the damn buttons NOTHING HAPPENS. Nothing. Except 20 minutes of frustration. All I want is to turn on the TV! And I have no idea how the hell to do that, despite the clear instructions. No STANDBY appeared. Nothing but a blank damn screen.
Update: Receiver was turned off. A whole different box I knew not to touch.
