Today, I had my first reading of “Spirits of Aging” Staged Short play at Springville Center for the Arts. Also, my first role, all be it a small one, in a play, with real lines.

Happy. Watching and promoting theater makes me happy.

HAPPY. Acting and getting a chance to direct theater makes me HAPPY.

My mama reminded me  that one of the things I did all the time as a kiddo was “create and put on plays with  Lil Brother and Angie and how it’s interesting to see how this love has played out in my life recently saying YES to trying out for a musical and saying YES to directing a staged short play—-30+ years later. My goodness the countless hours we spent weaving together songs we loved into plays for mom & Janet (and Gma Smith.) Happy memories.
