Sandra Day O’Connor was my hero as a young impressionable, nerdy political girl. In college I studied Constitutional Law right as RBG joined the court. In law school I realized my dream job was taken by Nina Totenberg, so I just kept tuning in and trying to serve my community.
The grief is real. My heart is heavy.

I was going to wear all black today but decided to be optimistic and colorful instead. I’m at work today. In a room by myself while an instructor is finishing a course. On the verge of tears is putting it mildly. I so wish I could be in bed right now.
