(Sing along with Bridget Jones…)

Funny how things work. I was thinking immediately after my birthday that I needed to spend some serious time offline. Not chatting. Not friending new people on Facebook. Not reading blogs. But reading BOOKS and doing things around the house, alone type things.

And then? My computer went BOINK on the 31st. Just boink. No idea what happened but it takes about an hour to load and then doesn’t want to do anything. Or let me on the internet. Grrrr.

I get it. I get it. FORCED computer offline time. I spent the first few days this year in Cleveland and not online, and now I’m back at home…without a computer.

I’m going to try to fix it of course, but…

Well, it’s just interesting how these things happen, ya know?

All By Myself

We all need time alone. Even those of us who are social butterflies need some time to ourselves. Solitude is necessary for meditation and quiet reflection…Our alone time revitalizes and replenishes us, grounding us in our own company.
