At Christmas time this past year in order to put up the ginormous Silver and Gold foyer tree – I had to find a place for all those houseplants I added last year. Strategic placement all over the dining room – and a few moved into the balcony. And some in the kitchen.

It was then that I realized. MY PLANTS LIKE THEIR TEMPORARY HOME. And I should buy 100 more to fill the foyer once again. HWMMS did not quite agree with that plan. No seriously, I have more plants than many –  I think Erin might have more…and I KNOW my friend Heather has more because we counted one time and compared…

HOWEVER Weber Wonderland is ginormous. And now that I’m implementing grow lights for the houseplants – I see no limit. Except $$$ of course.

I added about two dozen more plants to the collection last month – and bought another plant shelf because it was SUPER ON SALE THANK YOU AMAZON – and put this one is in the dining room.

These are the other plants currently in the dining room. The windows by the porch get great light so we have a dresser in front of each.

Future goal – each side of the window will have a hanging plant. (So 6 in total.) And I imagine getting some sort of floating shelf for the window to add smaller plants because – well, good light and TALL WINDOWS. (6 more plants for each window – 12 plants.)  AND THEN THERE’S THE BUFFET on the other side of the room —-

And then there’s my half-assed attempt to not kill all the succulents. I have a lot to learn. I added this grow light and a heat mat and so far only a few of the new babies have died instead of all. PROGRESS? (We will see, I may have another six ordered…)

All the other plants moved back into the foyer – I added a bunch of hanging plants – not shown.  Oh and spilt Ethan into three.

I always forget, these plants count too! The baby bodhi tree and bay leave plant are now upstairs – within two days they both had new growth so I think I will keep them where it is a bit warmer right now.
