2020. The year I feared checking the news every morning when waking up BUT got over my fear of putting in eye drops. After having an eye phobia for most of my life, I’m proud to say I can now put drops in without flinching. Mostly because they feel SO GOOD and make my eye less itchy. So itchy…so, so itchy.

Laser went fine. I was the only one at surgical center. Pressure went way down on its own. Only did one little poke. Time for post eye anxiety nap.

My eye surgeon told me this morning it looks excellent, healing nicely and don’t think about the blood. Haha.

Deep thought. Know how blood turns from red to brown when drying out? Guess what? Blood in an eyeball never dries out. Or at least it hasn’t in my eye yet.

Good news! I’ve taken so many photos of my bloody eyeball the last few days I think I’m making progress on eliminating my eye phobia!

Bad news! I’ve taken so many photos of my bloody eyeball the last few days I think I’m becoming addicted to taking bloody pics of my eyeball.

(Pic after the break, it’s icky.)
